Voucher housing choice units are inspected for compliance with Hud Quality Standards as well as the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code. All Inspection reports are provided in a timely manner and can be customized to meet your administrative plan requirements.
Both the tenant and landlord will be notified by mail when the inspection is scheduled. Rent Reasonable will be included with Annual, Biennial, Initial, Audit, and Special inspections. Failed units will be scheduled for re-inspection within 30 days of failure, and the landlord will be immediately informed of 24-hour at-risk conditions. Documentation will be provided on attempts to bring the unit back into compliance.
The landlord or designee will be contacted for initial inspection within 2 business days after receiving Request for Tenancy Approval, and an additional charge may apply for units outside of a 50-mile radius from your office.
